Building off our recent blog post, join Technoactivism for an in-person workshop on recognizing phishing attacks and responding when online threats get personal. Through relatable examples and practical discussion, we’ll explore how to pause under pressure, verify alarming claims, and choose your next steps with confidence.

Together, we’ll cover how to:

• Spot phishing messages and the pressure tactics scammers use.

• Check on a loved one through a trusted channel.

• Respond to threats without giving away more information.

• Preserve evidence, report abuse, and secure affected accounts.

• Create a family communication plan before a frightening message arrives.

You’ll leave with a practical response plan and steps you can share with the people you care about.
